HOW IT WORKS
At Fresh Nibi, we deliver clean, safe water through a proven multi-step process designed for lasting peace of mind. As a proud Indigenous-owned company, we bring both technical expertise and cultural understanding to every system we install.
Water starts its journey through a whole-home filtration system that removes sediment, reduces unwanted taste and odor, and protects against common minerals. It then passes through UV disinfection to eliminate harmful bacteria and viruses. Finally, a five-stage reverse osmosis unit at the tap provides an extra layer of purification—removing up to 99% of common contaminants.
The result? Water that meets some of the highest safety and quality standards—perfect for drinking, cooking, and everyday use. Built for reliability, designed with care, and delivered in partnership with your community.

From the Source
Water for communities typically comes from one of three main sources: community systems, groundwater, or surface water. Community Centralized facilities that treat and deliver water to homes through aged pipelines. Groundwater is drawn from underground aquifers using wells. Surface water includes lakes, rivers, and streams these sources are more exposed to environmental contaminants and often require more treatment before use. Each source has its own challenges and risks, making proper treatment and monitoring essential to ensure safe and reliable drinking water.

Point-of-Entry
When water reaches your home, a Point-of-Entry (POE) system treats it immediately at the main entry point. before it flows to any taps, showers, or appliances. These whole-home systems typically include sediment filters to remove dirt and particles, carbon filters to reduce chlorine, odour, and other unpleasant tastes, and often a disinfection unit such as UV light to target bacteria and viruses. By addressing these concerns early, POE systems ensure that all the water used throughout the home for bathing, laundry, cleaning, and cooking is cleaner, safer, and better for both health and comfort.

Point-of-Use
After water passes through the main Point-of-Entry system and flows throughout the home, a Point-of-Use (POU) system provides an additional layer of purification at specific taps—typically in the kitchen. These compact systems, often installed under the sink, use advanced filtration methods to remove any remaining contaminants, including dissolved solids, heavy metals, and chemicals. This ensures the water you consume is of the highest quality clean, great-tasting, and safe for your health. POU systems are a vital part of delivering peace of mind where it matters most: at the glass.
